BUN B (Bernard James “Bun B” Freeman) is an American rapper, songwriter, producer, actor, entrepreneur, lecturer, and cultural icon best known as one-half of the legendary Southern hip-hop duo UGK (Underground Kingz), which helped define Texas rap and Southern hip-hop beginning in the late 1980s. He has released multiple acclaimed solo albums and contributed to hip-hop culture for over three decades, helping bring Southern rap to mainstream audiences and influencing generations of artists. Beyond music, Bun B is also the co-founder of Trill Burgers, a smash-burger concept that has gained national acclaim and was named “Best Burger in America” by Good Morning America.
