PASTOR RAY BADY and Dr. Keshia Gaines- Black History Month


PASTOR RAY BADY is an American gospel musician, singer, songwriter, producer, drummer, and ordained minister originally from Chicago who has spent his life serving through music and ministry. He began by sharpening his musical gifts in church and went on to play drums and contribute to drum production for some of the biggest names in gospel and Christian music, including Kirk Franklin, Donnie McClurkin, BeBe & CeCe Winans, Yolanda Adams, R. Kelly, and Marvin Sapp. He later signed with GospoCentric Records, releasing his solo album "Mission K.O.B."(Keep On Believin’) and showcasing his talents as both a vocalist and songwriter. Beyond his recording career, Ray has served in youth and pastoral leadership roles, including at Windsor Village Church in Houston, Texas, and has since been appointed Senior Pastor of Valley Kingdom Ministries International in Chicago, leading a large congregation and music ministry. He has also played a key role in the legacy of Shekinah Glory Ministry, a platinum-selling gospel ensemble known for praise and worship hits that helped define contemporary gospel music. Pastor Bady even appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Network’s "The Book of John," expanding his influence beyond music into national television. His multi-faceted career — spanning performance, production, pastoral leadership, and media — has made him a national influencer who connects faith, gospel artistry, and community engagement across the United States.
