"WOODY" FROM DRU HILL (Warren Fields), is an American singer best known as the original lead vocalist of the R&B group Dru Hill, one of the most influential groups of the late 1990s. As a founding member, his distinctive, gritty vocal style helped define Dru Hill’s sound on early hits like “Tell Me,” “In My Bed,” and “5 Steps.” Dru Hill achieved multi-platinum success, becoming a major force in contemporary R&B and influencing countless artists in the genre. After leaving the group, Woody pursued a solo career in gospel music, releasing songs that reflected his personal growth and life experiences.
